The water temp is in the 40's and the blues are extremely active. The biggest fish are eating and now is the time to catch them. The baits of choice has been gizzard shad and cut carp. Channel cats have been really aggressive under the cormorant roosts. They can be caught on punch baits or worms right now. The weather might be cold out there but the fishing is red HOT!
