Fish Hauler's Guide Service
I offer trips on several different Central Texas lakes and rivers. Experience has taught me that the fishing is better on certain waters during different times of the year. I specialize in putting customers on bluecats. These fish can get very large in Texas waters. While the cooler months produce the majority of trophy fish, the summer and fall bite can be just as good. Blue cat trips are offered year round in both half and full day trips.
Channel catfish can be caught year round in central Texas lakes. These fish school up in the winter time and can be caught in ridiculously high numbers. In the warmer months they tend to feed very aggressively and can be a source of non-stop action. Fishing for channel cats is a great way to entertain folks that are new to fishing. Channel cat trips are offered year round in both half and full day trips.
Flatheads (yellow cats, aps, apolusas, shovelheads) are some of the true monsters that inhabit Texas waters. These reclusive monsters can be caught year round but fishing is best in the late spring through fall. The flathead catfish will stay in the heaviest cover in an area. Fishing for flatheads is reserved for only the most extreme of Texas fishermen. These beasts can test the patience of even the most experienced angler. They pull like a freight train and grow to trophy sizes in almost all Texas lakes and rivers. I only offer flathead fishing from May to September. These trips will be 10hrs and must be scheduled at least three days in advance.
Specialty trips are available. Some examples of specialty trips would be chasing whites during spawn, buffalo fishing, carp fishing, gar fishing, recon of new water, and educational trips. No matter what kind of fishing you decide to do, I will do my best to ensure that you have fun and catch fish.
